How does Leagues Cup work?
The Leagues Cup brings together all 18 Liga MX clubs and 18 MLS clubs. In Phase One each team plays three matches against opponents from the other league; the top four from each league advance to a knockout bracket. The top three finishers earn spots in the Concacaf Champions Cup.
