- 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw; there is no playoff for the title.
- Tiebreakers: points, goal difference, goals scored; head-to-head only applies if teams are still level for the title, relegation or European places.
- The bottom three are relegated to the EFL Championship; Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City are the promoted clubs for 2026-27.
- The top of the table qualifies for UEFA competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League).
